Dip. Dance Teaching & Management, CSTD Tap Teacher Cert, CSTD Modern Jazz Teacher Cert, RAD Advance 1, 2 years of full-time experience and first aid qualified.
Mikaela is a Brisbane based dance artist with substantial experience in both teaching and choreographing in the industry. She has successfully worked with students preparing their syllabus exams work, with the majority of her students achieving Distinction in RAD as well as Honour Plus in CSTD.
Miss Mikaela is a teacher dedicated to using her knowledge of anatomy, muscle activation and kinesthetics to her advantage when teaching. During Mikaela’s years of dance training she studied a variety of styles including: Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, and many more. Miss Mikaela has over 22 years of experience in the dance industry and has completed 2 year of experience in full-time dancing.
Miss Mikaela has been very successful in coaching students throughout the competitions circuit. Mikaela’s current and past students have competed in many different competitions all throughout Brisbane. Miss Mikaela’s students have received many 1st places with her choreography and have immensely enjoyed the experience. Miss Mikaela thoroughly enjoys choreographing competition pieces and looks forward to many year of continuing her work.
Miss Mikaela has completed her Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management. She also has completed and obtained her Teacher's Certificate in jazz and tap through the CSTD. She is currently a Silver Ready Set Dance Certified and also have competed in many different competition all over Brisbane as well as Mackay. Miss Mikaela has also completed her RAD Advance 1 ballet exam, as well as completed level 4 in the CSTD Jason Winter Contemporary syllabus and is well equipped with 10 years of teaching experience.
